I’m Hetu Negri, a London based Argentinian/Italian Senior Creative Writer with Art Direction experience.
(Just to be clear I’m the guy drinking mate next to the snowman - not the snowman).
Beginings>
Born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
At the age of 2, I became the first customer of the rice cakes industry, after being diagnosed as gluten intolerant before it was a trendy thing. I never expected I would generate such a worldwide cult!
Career>
During the last 13 years, I’ve been working in 3 different countries. Sadly, never as a football player.
I started in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I spent 5 years working in independent hot shops: El Cielo and DON. In 2013, I won the Young Lions Film competition that took me to represent my country at the Cannes Lions Festival.
By 2014 I moved to Madrid, Spain to be part of Lola Mullenlowe, the #1 agency of Spain. I had the privilege to work with the most talented people in the ‘Proudly Seeking Pleasure’ campaign for Magnum. I’ve also worked in the multi-winner campaign for Libero, ‘Touch Your Footballs’. Both, the most awarded campaigns in the brands’ history.
In 2017 I moved to London, United Kingdom to work at McCANN London, for global and local clients such as Mastercard, Nesquik, Microsoft, Xbox, Nurofen, Alzheimer’s Society, amongst others. In a few years, I had the pleasure to work on business-changing projects such as ‘The Birth of Gaming Tourism’ for Xbox as well as developing a skill app called ‘My Carer’ in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society.
In 2022, I was recruited by AMV BBDO to work for all agency clients.

Along the way, I’ve got more than 100 industry awards in international festivals including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Andy Awards, The One Show, Clio, Eurobest, LIA, Webby Awards, ADCE, Epica, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Sol, FIAP, Wave, Effie and local festivals including ACD (Germany), Ad Pencil (Argentina) and Creative Circles (Spain, UK),
I’ve been a juror at NY Festivals and British Creative Circle and speaker at Creative Industry Summit (Cairo, Egypt)
Activities>
I spend my free time having Argentinian BBQs with friends, painting with oils and playing drums.
